Bike Check: Juliana Furtado CC. The beast for the Southeast.

I’ve been riding this steed since March 2016. It took some time (and responsible spending over time as well as Jared’s help to find all the parts and put it together) to spec out the bike just how I wanted it. So 6 months later, here she is:

Original parts: Carbon CC Frame with color matching Juliana single sided lock on grips. Rock Shox Pike 130mm fork. FOX DPS EVOL shock. Santa Cruz carbon 760mm handlebar.

Subtle bling: Top cap.

Race Face Turbine dropper 1X lever.

HT T1 pedals. Race Face 32T Narrow Wide direct mount chainring. Race Face next SL crank arms. Carbon crank boots.

Super sweet, mandatory (if you live in the SE) Industry Nine wheels (made in Asheville, NC), TORCH 27.5″ Trail245 24 hole. All around tires of choice are Schwalbe Magic Mary on the front and Schwalbe Rock Razor tire on the rear. For racing, I use Schwalbe Nobby Nics front and rear to drop some weight.

Swapped out the stock 2×10 drivetrain for XT 1×11 with a Wolf Tooth 45T conversion.

Took Juli on a vacation to Lake Tahoe.
