Here’s a variety of photos from my weekend at Sea Otter. It was fun to check out new products, but it turns out I enjoyed taking pictures of the landscape more than the stuff. Gear heads know where they can get their fix: http://www.pinkbike.com or http://www.bikerumor.com are just two sites that feature products from the event.

Race Day photos: Women’s Cross Country Cat 1 30-39, 3rd place
Two Reno ladies on the podium! Flying in Marin colors. Waiting for podiums.
Final stretch before the finish line. I beat her at the line, but it turns out she wasn’t in my age group.
Course Preview Pictures
A lot of folks complained about how non-technical the cross country race course was. It’s true that much of it was on dirt fire road and pavement, and there were no technically challenging sections. However, I was still impressed by the beauty of the area.
Jared raced Enduro (aka. nearly identicyal to the xc course with only select sections timed)
It’s impossible not to make fun of the half lid/goggle look. And notice how technical the enduro course is! (read with thick sarcasm).
The Monterey Aquarium is not to be missed!
Demo Forest is worth a stop on the way home!
And who doesn’t like fire.
